Hearing Aids

Digital hearing aids are available from a variety of manufacturers and in all sizes, from behind the ear to completely in-the-canal. We believe in providing the latest technology with personalized care.

Hearing Aid Companion Devices

Today's advanced instruments work with a variety of Bluetooth and FM devices.  These devices connect the instruments to the electronic devices that we regularly use.  They allow a direct connection to our cell phones (hands-free), televisions, CD players, MP3 players, and now remote microphones.  Remote microphones can be used at meetings, in cars, restaurants and a variety of other situations.  These devices overcome problems with hearing in difficult background noise environments and at distances, providing clear, understandable speech.

Hearing Aid Repairs

Some minor hearing aid repairs can be done in the office setting in a short period of time; others will need to be sent to the manufacturer for repair.  Your hearing professional can help determine what kind of a repair is necessary if you feel your hearing aid is not working properly. Hearing Assistive Technology

Hearing Assistive Technology includes devices such as amplified telephones, cell phone accessories, television listening systems, alarm clocks, telephone and doorbell ring signalers, flashing smoke alarms, and personal listening systems to assist people to hear or be alerted to environmental signals, with or without hearing aids.

Hearing Tests

A hearing (audiometric) test is part of an ear examination that evaluates a person's ability to hear by measuring the ability of sound to reach the brain. For an extensive list of hearing tests we perform click here.

Swim Molds, Noise Protectors, and Earmolds for Phone Headsets

We offer custom-made swim molds and earmolds for use with telephone headsets in a variety of styles and colors. We also offer custom-made and generic hearing protectors and musician's plugs that provide protection while maintaining the fidelity of the music.

Medical Support

Through our Pinole office, appointments can be made with the medical staff to address issues pertaining to our hearing and balance.

Tympanometry

Tympanometry is an examination used to test the condition of the middle ear and mobility of the eardrum (tympanic membrane) and the conduction bones, by creating variations of air pressure in the ear canal. For more information on our tympanometry pressure test click here.

Lifetime Hearing Services

To protect the investment you have made in your hearing, we will schedule an appointment for you every 3-4 months to check on the health of your ears, wax accumulation and to do a thorough cleaning of your hearing instruments. This keeps your aids in top performance condition and extends the functional life of your instruments.  This also allows you to talk about your challenges in different environments. This close personal attention often times lead to fine tuning adjustments that can greatly improve your listening experience.
